I Was Being Managed, Not Rebuilt.

For 25 years, I battled Type 2 diabetes while following the standard path — medications, shots, diet control, exercise, and trying harder.

But my health kept moving in the wrong direction.

Or keep Reading My Story...

This Mission Started With My Own Battle

I’m Jon “The Iceman” Frost, founder of The Metabolic Rebuild — but this mission did not start as a business idea.

It started with my own battle.

I know what it feels like to be skeptical, because I was too.

At one point in my life, I reached 450 pounds. Around the time I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in January of 2000, I lost a dramatic amount of weight in a short period of time — a drop my doctor believed may have been connected to DKA.

But that was not healing.

That was my body breaking down.

From there, I entered what became a 25-year fight with Type 2 diabetes.

I Followed The Standard Path

I followed the advice most people are given.

Metformin.
Glipizide.
Diet control.
Exercise.
Eat less.
Try harder.

Over the years, the medications changed. Shots were added. Insulin was added. GLP-style medications were added.

But for me, the deeper problem kept progressing.

My condition was being managed, but my health was still falling apart.

I was being managed, not rebuilt — and there is a difference.

What It Felt Like Living Inside That Body

For much of my adult life, I lived around 320–330 pounds while dealing with fatty liver, high blood pressure, joint pain, brain fog, poor sleep, mood swings, headaches, neuropathy, and the frustration of feeling trapped in a body that no longer felt like my own.

The hardest part was not just the weight.

It was doing what I was told and still feeling like my body was working against me.

I was taking the medications.
I was following the advice.
I was trying to be disciplined.

But the root had never been rebuilt.

The Turning Point

I did not need another lecture about willpower.

I did not need another shame-based diet.

I did not need another temporary fix.

I needed to understand what was happening underneath the surface.

That realization changed everything.

Instead of only chasing symptoms, I started rebuilding the root — with a disciplined approach to food order, fasting, metabolic support, and consistency.

The process was not magic.

It was not overnight.

And it was not built on starving, gimmicks, or fake shortcuts.

It was built on structure.

What Changed

This is my personal story. Everyone's journey is different, but this is what changed for me.

Backed by labs and personal tracking, I dropped to 227 pounds, improved my blood pressure, energy, sleep, focus, fatty liver markers, and quality of life.

But the biggest change was deeper than the scale.

I started feeling like myself again.

More energy.
Clearer thinking.
Better sleep.
Better control.
Better direction.

That transformation became the foundation for The Metabolic Rebuild.

Why I Built The Metabolic Rebuild

The Metabolic Rebuild was created for people who feel like I once did.

People who are tired of being tired.

People dealing with cravings, belly weight, blood sugar swings, low energy, fatty liver concerns, and confusing health advice.

People who have been told to eat less and move more, but still feel like their body is fighting them.

People who are not lazy.

They are overloaded.

Your body is not broken. Your system is overloaded.

Fix The Root. Rebuild The System. Reclaim Control.

Through The Metabolic Rebuild, I help people understand how insulin resistance and metabolic dysfunction may affect cravings, weight, blood sugar, fatty liver concerns, low energy, and long-term health.

The mission is not to replace medical care.

The mission is to help people become more educated, more disciplined, and more consistent with a root-focused strategy they can actually follow.

Because cravings are not random.
Belly weight is not just laziness.
Fatigue is not just aging.
Blood sugar swings are not isolated.
Fatty liver is not just a liver problem.

They are signals.

And signals point to a system.
